LAKANA Sovereign Systems Physics-first protection without surveillance
LAKANA Environmental Intelligence

One environmental truth layer. Two consequence lenses.

W-X evaluates what the environment can presently support as truth. The Meteorology Lens exposes that environmental state directly. The Farmer Lens passes the same W-X truth into WX-Ag to evaluate bounded field, soil, water, crop-stage, and agronomic consequences.

What this hub is not

Neither lens replaces Mesonet-class networks, the National Weather Service, radar, meteorologists, emergency managers, agronomists, field scouting, or farm-management judgement. Neither lens issues an official warning or a directive.

Meteorology Lens

W-X is LAKANA's local-first environmental-truth layer. It combines supported official reference data, calibrated W-X nodes, and explicitly opt-in local witness devices to evaluate environmental state, freshness, physical plausibility, source agreement, uncertainty, and local divergence. It operates alongside Mesonet-class networks, NWS, ASOS, radar, satellites, meteorologists, and emergency managers. It does not replace them.

This lens is a compact, scientifically complete W-X console: a real backend request, a real truth state, and the same refusals the full Observatory demonstrates — WBGT refused without a globe term, wet bulb refused without station pressure, silence on stale or contradictory sources.

Deeper source-comparison detail, the full Boundary Layer explanation, the active-entropy timeline, and the boundary-cell map live on the full W-X Observatory.

Live engine console

Every value below is computed on the LAKANA server and sent here as a finished result. This page holds no psychrometric formula, no wet-bulb solver, no fusion rule, and no threshold. It is a view of an answer, not a second copy of the engine.

A published coarse cell. This surface never accepts coordinates, and the page never asks your browser for a location.

−60 to 60. Outside that range the server rejects the request rather than quietly clamping it.

Actual station pressure. Sea-level-reduced pressure is a different quantity and the engine refuses to treat it as this one.

Withholding solar removes the globe-temperature path. Watch WBGT become unavailable rather than approximate.

This console requires JavaScript to call the server. Without it, no value is shown here — the page does not compute a stand-in. The recorded fixtures elsewhere on this page read completely without JavaScript.

What happens when the server cannot answer

Nothing is computed here. The console reports that the engine is unavailable and shows no value. It does not fall back to a browser calculation, does not reuse the previous answer as if it were current, and does not interpolate. A page that silently substitutes an approximation for a refused answer is less honest than one that says it cannot answer.

Farmer Lens

WX-Ag is the agronomic and soil-state extension of W-X. It consumes W-X environmental truth and applies deterministic, uncertainty-explicit models to evapotranspiration, atmospheric demand, soil-water balance, root-zone state, saturation, anoxia proxies, crop-stage stress, pest-conducive conditions, and carbon-accounting scaffolds. It does not replace agronomists, field scouting, agricultural extension, irrigation professionals, or farm-management judgment.

The Farmer Lens does not calculate its own weather truth

It consumes the same backend-generated W-X truth used by the Meteorology Lens, SOS, and SSI. Every request below builds that truth through the identical server function the Meteorology Lens uses, then feeds it into WX-Ag. WX-Ag never bypasses W-X.

Copies the current Meteorology Lens scenario into the Farmer Lens below and reruns it there — the same declared values, not a computed shortcut.

The interactive soil-profile view, layer-by-layer time playback, and the full ET0 and crop-stage contract live on the full WX-Ag Laboratory.

Live field-consequence console

This calls the same server engine that produced every recorded figure on this page: lib/wxag/et0.js and lib/wxag/soilWaterBalance.js, chained through W-X truth. No formula, no crop-coefficient table, and no soil-balance term runs in this browser.

Six of these presets are refusal demonstrations: selecting one sends genuinely stale, contradictory, or unsupported inputs through the real engine. "Custom" uses every field below instead of a preset.

Used for ET0's Hargreaves-Samani path, which needs a diurnal range, not a single instant.

Resolves to a published FAO-56 Table 12 coefficient on the server. This is a citation of standard reference agronomy, not a LAKANA calibration, and no numeric coefficient is ever accepted from the browser.

Declared context only. This engine's runoff term is a rainfall-partition proxy, not a slope-routed hydrology model.

This console requires JavaScript to call the server. Without it, no result is shown — there is no browser-side balance to fall back to.

Temporal run composer — one day to ten years

This calls lib/wxag/temporal/temporalEngine.js on the server. The engine steps daily whatever span you ask for, runs a spin-up period before the reporting window so the result does not carry an initial-storage assumption, and refuses to report at all if the water balance does not close. Nothing here is computed in this browser.

A run longer than a year is never a forecast. Nobody can forecast weather at that range. A multi-year run is a backcast over recorded conditions, an ensemble over historical analog years, a stress test against climatological normals, or a declared scenario. The run mode decides which, and a mode that cannot honestly describe the span you asked for is refused rather than relabeled. Try it: choose an official forecast mode and set the span to ten years.

Six of these modes assert that their values were retrieved from a named source. When credentials and egress are configured on the deployed runtime, source-backed modes retrieve live data and refuse if provenance cannot be established. Use the live proof panel below for the complete Synoptic-to-receipt path.

1 to 3650. Ten years is the ceiling; asking for more is refused, not clamped.

Three declared seasonal shapes, not three real years. Every value is constructed on the server and labeled as declared.

Generalized texture classes. Not a characterization of any particular field.

Soil state carries across every planting and harvest. A rotation change does not reset the profile — the water that was there is still there.

No missing day is ever silently interpolated. Either the run refuses, or the hole is reported and excluded from every total.

Horizon presets (sets span days):

This console requires JavaScript to call the server. Without it, no result is shown — there is no browser-side engine to fall back to.

Source status

Which approved sources this deployment can actually reach, probed live when you ask. This page ships with no cached answer, because reachability is a property of the runtime serving you and not of the repository that built the page.

Some sources redistribute another network's measurements. Oklahoma Mesonet observations can be retrieved through the Synoptic Data API, and the panel names both: the Mesonet made the measurement, Synoptic carried it. Collapsing the two would credit an aggregator with a sensor network it does not operate, or hide the retrieval path whose availability the data depends on. The station identity shown is always the originating network's.

Every source below is registered with a fixed origin and a fixed set of request templates. The browser never sends a URL — it names a source, and the server constructs the request. That is what prevents this system from being used to make requests on someone else's behalf.

No probe has run. This panel shows nothing until the server reports what it actually reached.

Live Synoptic-to-receipt proof

This is not provider-health reachability. It drives the complete path: Synoptic Weather API → Oklahoma Mesonet observation → snapshot → forcing → temporal engine → W-X → TSARO → WX-Ag → Reality Fork → public-safe receipt.

No proof has run.

TSARO Decision Inspector

Evaluates whether a proposed use of W-X truth is physically and safely admissible. TSARO consumes truth; it does not recompute it. The server builds the evidence packet from a real engine run.

No evaluation has run.

Temporal admissibility is evaluated in Stage 6 (temporal class) and Stage 7 (authority state). Counterfactual and forecast evidence are refused for uses that require observations.

Curated source-backed historical event library

Events enter only after successful provider ingestion. The registry refuses fabrication.

SSES evidence candidates

Validator findings packaged as evidence candidates — not admitted public claims. SSES adjudicates separately; nothing here enters the live calculation path.

NOT YET AN ADMITTED PUBLIC EVIDENCE CLAIM

A validator reporting zero failures is a fact about a test suite. Whether that supports a public claim is a separate judgement.

Evidence candidates are produced by the build validator suite and admitted only through SSES review.

How LAKANA differs

Not a weather app

W-X produces bounded environmental truth with explicit refusal. It does not replace NWS forecasts or Mesonet dashboards.

Not a farm directive

WX-Ag reports modeled consequences. It does not issue irrigation orders or certify outcomes.

Source lineage preserved

Synoptic is the retrieval service; Oklahoma Mesonet is the originating network. Both survive every hop.

Counterfactual discipline

Reality Fork strips provider, station, and snapshot authority from modified values. Forked runs are COUNTERFACTUAL.

Bounded ensemble simulation

This ensemble runs on protected server compute. The browser submits an allowlisted public scenario and receives only a bounded aggregate summary. Seeds, distributions, per-draw values, sampling logic, thresholds, and the Monte Carlo implementation remain server-side.

Sets latitude for the radiation term. No finer location is accepted.

Capped at 4000. The cap is enforced on the server, not by this input — a request that ignores the input is still capped.

A declared coefficient for this scenario. LAKANA's private crop coefficient tables are not published and are not used here.

This console requires JavaScript to call the server. Without it, no summary is shown — there is no browser-side ensemble to fall back to, by design.

What the ensemble does not become

Sampling a modeled water balance produces a spread of modeled values. It does not produce a measurement. The root-zone state stays MODEL-INFERRED at every percentile, and a narrow spread means the inputs agreed, not that the soil was observed.

WX-Ag reports consequence. It does not issue directives, and it does not replace an agronomist.

How the systems connect

TSARO

Evaluates a proposed use of W-X truth against physical and safety admissibility. It consumes truth; it does not recompute it.

NICOLE Protocol

Governs protected or role-scoped release of what W-X and WX-Ag produce.

SSES

Later adjudicates what verified evidence may support publicly. It is not in the live calculation path shown above.

W-X determines the bounded environmental truth state. TSARO determines whether a proposed use of that truth is physically and safely admissible.

A real trace, recorded

Recorded fixture — not a current engine execution

This trace was computed by the server engine when this page was generated, at a fixed clock of 2026-08-02 19:46 UTC, and the output was written into the page. It is reproducible and it is real engine output, but it is a recording. It does not update, and it is not evidence of current conditions.

For output computed at the moment you ask for it, use the live console. That console calls the server on every request; the mathematics never runs in your browser.

The same truth object this hub's live consoles compute, traced into SSI and SOS/TSARO, exactly as it would be for a real request.

To SSI

01 CivOS Reported sensor and compute availability for the active cell. 02 W-X Established bounded environmental truth for the cell: VALID. 03 W-X->SSI adapter Converted W-X thermal truth into an SSI environmental context.

SSI receives: WBGT 28.35 °C via ESTIMATED_LIMITED_WBGT, confidence SUPPORTED.

To SOS, then TSARO

TSARO returned DEGRADE — hazard evidence rests on an estimated-limited quantity.

To WX-Ag

WX-Ag received truth state VALID and computed a field consequence from it.
