Sovereign Safety Intelligence

SSI is a physics-bounded safety system for athlete and high-load contexts. Its governing aim is direct: protect the body without requiring the person to surrender authority over the body's data.

// 01 - why SSI exists

The problem is not only missing data. It is untrustworthy authority under pressure.

Conventional monitoring systems often continue to look polished when the underlying inputs are degraded, contradictory, or physically implausible. They also tend to move body data into vendor or institutional custody by default.

SSI starts from a different premise. Safety systems should preserve truthful boundaries, say less when certainty is degraded, and keep raw physiological history under athlete-governed control unless a bounded purpose requires otherwise.

The public SSI story is therefore not a promise of magical certainty. It is a commitment to boundary logic, disciplined interpretation, and bodily-data sovereignty.

// 02 - subsystem relation

SSI in relation to the broader LAKANA stack

SSI

Safety system

Physiological load and structural-risk monitoring in athlete and high-load domains.

W-X

Environmental truth anchor

Observational environmental context when heat and surrounding conditions materially affect safety boundaries.

CivOS

Trusted substrate

The protected operating base that makes local control and sovereignty technically meaningful.

SSI is strongest when explained as a safety system with explicit tradeoffs, not as a certainty machine.

// 03 - what the study reports

What the empirical-bundle study reports

Configuration

15,000,000 simulated careers

The current SSI results surface uses 30 seeds and 250,000 athletes per arm per seed.

Primary results

Six primary endpoints favor SSI

Career duration, ACL burden, recognition ratio, commotio latency, burden-day equivalents per career-year, and completed seasons all move in SSI's favor within the study.

Tradeoff disclosure

Secondary burden rises

Chronic days, restricted days, hard-stop days, heat events, soft-tissue events, and peak core heat rise under SSI and therefore belong in the interpretation.

Structural meaning

Terminal causes redistribute

The dominant terminal pattern shifts from ACL failure in the industry arm to degenerative attrition in the SSI arm.

Direct next step

The natural next step after this page is the results page or the downloadable results brief, not generic product copy.

// 04 - who should read this page

Who should engage the SSI research route

Researchers evaluating safety-system logic, athletic departments exploring governance-respecting monitoring, sports medicine collaborators interested in boundary-based protection, and funders who want disciplined research posture rather than inflated demonstration language.

SSI should be reviewed as a serious research program with explicit evidence boundaries and explicit tradeoff disclosure.
